Transecurity worked with exciting new developments in the areas of driver behavior research and in-vehicle technologies to deliver state-of-the-art on-board safety systems with a dymanic combination of safety functions. Our solutions integrate driver behavior monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision avoidance warning, and drowsy driver monitoring in a simple package at a lower cost than market competitors.
Transecurity also offers world class driver support safety. We understand most customers do not have the resources, expertise, or desire to process driver behavior monitor data, perform detailed assessment of driver crash risk, or to develop and conduct remedial driver training. We provide a team of experienced and well-trained experts to manage these services and tailor them to specific customer needs. Our People:
Transecurity, LLC is a spin-off of the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute at Virginia Polytechnic Institute located in Blacksburg, Virginia. Mike Mollenhauer, Tom Dingus, and Andy Petersen formed Transecurity in 2006 to create a variety of commercial on-road safety solutions using emerging in-vehicle technologies.
