Transecurity is a spin-off company from the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute (VTTI) at Virginia Tech. Our history is firmly rooted in driving safety and driver behavior research. Through technology licensing agreements, Transecurity has secured exclusive rights to market VTTI's data acquisition system (DAS) technology for purposes of driving research. Configured as a research oriented system, VTTI's DAS has been used to successfully collect datasets on the largest naturalistic driving research and field operational test programs ever conducted. The latest version of VTTI's DAS technology is now available through Transecurity as a commercially supported product called the DriveVision R.
